From Interaction of Color by Joseph Albers

A) READ: Chapters I, II, VI, VII, XV
(see plates on pages 84 - 91)

B) CREATE COLOR STUDIES: Using Colored paper,
create AT LEAST one example using your own colors
from EACH of these pages 85, 87 and 89.

There should be a minimum of three (3) color studies.

No limit on size, but final image needs to be visible from three feet away from the wall.

Be creative.... look at the work of Peter Halley and create your own color study using abstract
"neo-geo" designs.

Use colored paper (paint samples, Coloraid, wrapping paper or magazine clippings).

Please be consistent with color where it needs to be.

For next week: Be prepared to reproduce your FIGHT poster to an 8.5" x 11". Photograph or xerox sketch from sketchbook for in-class assignment.
